Each year the paint manufacturers come out with the their predictions for the upcoming years top colors. Sometimes they are head scratchers other times they are spot on. I am always hesitant to go with trendy colors, but the great thing about paint is that nothing is permanent and you can always change it easily when you grow tired of it.

Benjamin Moore has selected Caliente as their color of 2018. A bold color that can be used in a whole room like the picture below or just as an accent wall. It can be a little risky to go red, but when done right like in this picture, it is amazing.

Kelly Moore has gone with a more muted color for 2018. They describe it as a subtle shade of green; Bahia Grass captures the essence of swaying wild grasses in a summer breeze — but it works well in any season. This atmospheric hue is the epitome of a modern neutral, clearly tinted yet delicately balanced — making it perfect as a fashion statement with a timeless feel.

Sherwin Williams is going with a beach theme this year by naming Oceanside their 2018 color of the year. It is a fun, vibrant color that can really add a pop of color to any room.
